The PRO Candy/Deep Fry thermometer is rugged, durable and accurate. The wide temperature range allows the thermometer to be used for delicate chocolate as well as high temp deep frying. The high contrast dial displays optimal zones for both candy and deep frying for the best results. An adjustable, silicone coated clip can be used with many size saucepans, and will not scratch the surface. The long stem is designed to work with even deep pans. Recommended to insert at least 1 1/2" in the liquid for best results.
